I have normally receieved excellent treatment at The Avita Emergency Department in Ontario. Unfortunately, this was not the case on my last visit. Dr Anthony Midkiff and Nurse Practitioner Meredith Meftah went above and beyond to humiliate and belittle me for reasons that are not clear to me. Horrible experience they treated me as if i wasn't even a human being! The nurse came in and took flu sample and covid sample while me and my fiance are confused and dont understand why they are doin that. When she left I said to my fiance about a month ago we was sick but weve been over just a small cold for a month now so why are they testing me for all this. Great care by the Avita ER staff as always. Deana and Steph were quick and efficient at getting tests done. Tori was my primary nurse and she was so cheerful...not sure how people are that nice. Dr Marker was phenomenal. I felt pampered.
