This is by far the worse behavioral health place to ever go to! They make it damn near impossible to see the practitioner who gives you your medication I was just there for 2 hours waiting for a opening mind you I was told to come at 1pm because that's when my doctor would be available. Then I'm told she MIGHT be available at 3pm when they close at 5 and that's a maybe nobody tried to see if anyone else available nobody tried to help me get my medication it was just a oh well. Avita does not treat adult ADHD. And they don't answer the phones. A very difficult place to work with as a disabled person. They are very punitive and not understanding towards patients who struggle with mental disabilities, which is odd since that is the purpose of avita, to help people with such disabilities. I've tried to request telehealth appointments for medication management due to my severe anxiety and executive functioning problems, but they keep requiring in person appointments. Can never get anyone on the phone and it's always empty when I walk in. I know there not that busy just lazy.
Avita does not treat adult ADHD. Any Schedule II medications cannot be prescribed here for anyone over 18. If a place has a policy against the most effective, evidence-based treatment for ADHD then they don't actually treat ADHD.
