Amazing. Felt welcomed from day one. All the staff are so kind and truly care. Blessed to have had the experience I did here.
I have to be honest and say this place is not what is advertised. I took a week off work to get the things listed on their pamphlet which I posted on the pictures. None of that happened. It was nothing but sitting in a room of half passed out people while a teenager read from a clip board. I spent $1875 and only spent a few hours before I left. If you have a severe mental or drug problem maybe this is the place for you, I still don’t think it is. But to believe anything listed on the pamphlet, you will be sadly mistaken
My experience at Avisa has been wonderful. From the day I started I felt so welcomed and understood. Shakeria the case manager has helped me so much with job searching extra support & insurance issues. My therapist Melissa helped me learn so much about myself. All the groups were run so well… I’ve learned coping skills, self love, and more independence!! This place is wonderful. I have been a patient there since August of last year. I’m currently an out patient. Everyone is ready to help. I immediately felt comfort and no judgement. I can truly say that my experience has been great! I have come a long way! Before Avisa, I couldn’t say anything nice about myself. Now, me just saying right now, is testimony to how far I’ve come. AVISA has been a wonderful experience for me. The groups are exceptional, therapeutic and engaging. The staff surpasses anything I could have imagined. Their kindness and dedication to their clients is truly authentic. I will miss being at AVISA in their PHP program and have loved and appreciated all the help I have received here. I would highly recommend this agency for anyone struggling with mental health issues or substance use disorder. AVISA has been detrimental to my wellness.
