I purchased a certified 2024 Hyundia Tucson on 10/01/2024. I was told the 599 Appearance protect was included in the list price of 23999. I found out this was an unfair and deceptive violation 93A. I need to speak with someone in upper management regarding my experience, because what happened to me feels like a complete scam — and I’m still dealing with the consequences years later. I was forced into paying for add-on protections that were never explained, documented, or properly provided. Bought a car on 3/5/25. Manager was supposed to transfer my plates. Never did. A couple days later they are “temporarily closed” no one to contact. Lost my insurance and can’t drive it because it’s not registered. There are no phone numbers to reach anyone in car sales at Avis only rentals. Update: Avis sent a team in to fix any issues. Quick and courteous fix of an odd situation.
