Terrible cleanliness. I rented a car for two days, and it arrived filthy. There was bird poop on the outside (I had to clean the windshield myself), dirty seats, and—worst of all—ants crawling all over the dashboard and driver's seat. I was told it was the only vehicle available. I went back the next day to swap it. The replacement car (a Hornet) was also dirty, dented all over, and had door damage. Had to wait 40 min to get a car because of the long queue. Never had to do this at any other rental company. National didn’t appreciate that business people travel for work and need to get to places. Though the agents tried to do their best to be helpful, they can’t overcome the system that created the mess. National should have let customers know in advance about the queue so that we have a choice to can make other plans.
