This was the worst experience I've ever had with Avis and I’ve rented cars from them in various places around the world. The attendant was rude and completely unhelpful. I had to pay $40 and pick up the car at the airport because my cards wouldn't go through on their machine (clearly a problem with the machine itself). I’ll think twice before renting from Avis again. Terrible experience.

0 if possible. Booked to rent an suv online for June 5-6. Scheduled pick up at 10am . They callled at 10:30 that there’s no car. By that time I had walked all the way to the convention center. The nasty lady who I called back said that there’s no more cars. I told her I reserved and book several weeks in advance. She said no one returned their cars yet and told me to come back at 1. This is the worst experience with a car rental company I’ve had in my life! We rented the car months before our trip. When we arrived this morning to pick it up at this location, they did not accept our European car (may I add this is the same card as we did the reservation with) due to it being debit card.
