They are supposed to open at 8am. It is 8:11am and nobody is here. Customer service cannot or is unwilling to call the manager or anyone to help. Avoid this location.
I generally rent cars from here but considering going elsewhere. This is the second time my husband and I have experienced showing up to the location during published business hours and NO ONE is there. First time I sat outside and waited for thirty minutes before the employee came back - he was in the coffee shop next door. This place needs to be shut down. The older woman at the front desk is always panicked and seems to be overwhelmed on the phone and always working solo . She tried to tell me that my car dash and navigation console was intermittently making loud buzzing vibrations and unusual noises because "perhaps i was driving over a bumpy road" . She said i could not keep my car an extra day even if my car was still in the repair shop because everything was oversold and there was nothing i could do. Ive been renting cars in santa clarita, santa monica, and the areas in between. Ive done business with Enterprise and hertz but nothing compares to the service Waffa, at the Avis and Budget location down in the Barrington and Bundy location, has given me. Even her associate Jamal was a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend this location more. If you’re ever in need of a car rental in the sant monica area, these are the people you want to go with.
What a great experience renting from this family owed franchise within walking distance to my home. I needed to rent a minivan to travel with my family to my son’s graduation up at CalPoly SLO. They gave me a beautiful, new Honda Odyssey minivan. Easy peasy check in and return from this lovely family. Thank you for such a roomy and comfortable ride for the weekend and the great customer service. I will definitely use you again when needing a rental car :-)
