I made a reservation over a month and half ago for pickup at 5pm. Landed at SNA last night got down to the rental desk at 530 and was told no cars were available!! Had to wait 3 hours for a car!! Not cool... Apparently just because you make a reservation you don't get a car rental!! No compensation, no upgrade, nothing. This was a horrible experience especially with the kids getting hangry and cranky!! They kept telling us 45 minutes!! @Avis stopping overbooking!!
Booked a reservation. Long line to get to the front desk. They wouldn't let me see the car to see the options inside. Not terrible, but there are far better options, such as SIXT rentals.
I have been a President's Club member forever. I started traveling to Santa Ana weekly March of 2024 at least 3 weeks / month spending about $400 / week each time. At this location you have to go to the lowest level and go to the 'prefered' service to pickup your keys to get to the car. The line and the setup is just not very good. If you stand in the front of the line, they cannot see you and you are not allowed to stand in the door way so they can see you. OMG... The customer service is 100x better than the employees at LAX.
Couldn't ask for a better trip.. Can't wait to come back. Definitely recommending Avis
