I rented a car from the Avis location at Halifax Airport, and the next day, noticed the tire on my rental vehicle was defective - there was a subtle but dangerous bubble on the sidewall of the tire. The staff at this location were fantastic. They exchanged vehicles for me and were remarkably efficient considering the mountain of paperwork that needed to be filled and signed. Hi I am just giving a headsup to all the renters. Take as mush as photo and video of the vehicle before driving and after the return. I took a vehicle for 3 days and i guess i might have drove 2500km. I got a call from the dealership after the return that there is a tire bulge and they have to make a claim. Tbh, I have no idea whether I drove on a potehole. The vehicle was already driven 20k km and I don’t know whether they have changed the tires or it was already in the same condition.
