Have rented from this location monthly for the last year and a half. No hassles always easy. Staff are always friendly.

I made a reservation by phone for 12:00 pm 0n 2/24/2026, and when I arrived to this office at 5911 Blair Rd NW, Washington, DC, I was told my reservation had been canceled - without any notice. No email and no phone call. As a result, I wasted time and I spent $80 dollars in Uber transportation - $40 to get there and $40 to return home. There was not apology, no attempt to offer a solution and no sense of accountability. Please do NOT use Avis for renting a car.
One of worst place for rental car big scammer the front desk man uneducated he don’t know how to speak with customer . They give me electric car for rent tiny small which every 3 hours i have to recharge and paying more then 30$ one time when i request to change they they said they no have any other car he speak soo rudely with me they are not professional never come back this place and never rent with AVIS. wrost place even they are not deserve one star
I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at this Avis location and will not be returning. Despite having paid in full, Shawn repeatedly insisted that my card had declined, which was not true. Instead of calmly verifying the issue or attempting to help resolve it, he continued to accuse me of a payment problem without providing proof or offering any assistance.
