I booked a minivan from this Avis location a week in advance for a move to another city. Ten minutes before I was supposed to pick it up, as I was heading out the door, I got a call saying they had no cars available, despite my reservation. I was then told they did have a minivan on site, but a colleague had lost the keys to it, so there was nothing they could do for me. I've rented many times from this location, for both business and personal. The team here is consistently top notch. They are personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. They are probably the only location in the DC area that actually answers their phone. Corey, Stephen, and the rest of the team have gone above and beyond when I needed something out of the ordinary. They certainly didn't have to. I've used other locations in DC and they simply don't compare.

If you value your own time, don’t come here, sloppy service and hefty delays.
I live nearby and don't own a car, so I rent from Avis whenever I need one. This location opening has been a huge improvement for me! Compared to Union Station and L Street, things always run smoothly at this Avis-- they've always had cars and the staff is really nice. I'm usually in and out in about 15 minutes. Highly recommend
