Absolute garbage for customer service. I realized I was driving without insurance and I was told by the office where I rented the car from that I could go to the Bakersfield airport and change a credit card that will give me coverage. The representative told me I would have to wait until the contract ended. So I asked her so I have to drive the car without insurance? She said yes. Delayed flight, 1 1/2 hours out of Tucson, another 40 mintes out of Phoenix. Nothing in the app about hours. They don't even check flight schedules so why ask for flight number in the app? Flight arrived after 10P. I got to desk at 1020P. Of course they weren't there! Why stay for a mere 3 day rental? Tomorrow I will go to the desk, cancel my rental and pick another up at Hertz whom I prefer anyway. And this place will go I to my little book of places to never rent from again. Yes! It is real as I travel a LOT.
I rent cars often for long trips just to preserve my cars miles and this has been the only rental company that’s delivered poor service in my opinion, based of comparison off other rental company’s. First off the car was not properly cleaned there were stains in the interior and fair amount of bird droppings on the exterior and dirty windshields. Made reservation last night on their site for pick up at Bakersfield airport and drop off in Oakland CA. Price is very good considering not dropping off at the same pick up place. Natalie is an angel and helped the process smoother as she learned that my daughter and I were stranded because our car broke down in dealership. She mad good recommendation on what car may fit better as we are moving our daughter stuff back from San Diego.
