I recently had a disappointing experience with Avis Rent a Car that left me feeling misled and frustrated. I needed to extend my rental by a couple of days, so I visited the Avis office in Myrtle Beach to make the change in person. I would like to give a zero but I can't
The van we rented was filthy but we were in a hurry to get to a funeral and didn’t have time or energy to swap it. When we returned the vehicle the man at the register completely mistreated my wife, referred to her as “young missy” multiple times and then discovered the driver side sun shade was broken. It was NOT from our drive but he insisted we had to pay for it. She said no as it wasn’t ours and he said he would leave the rental open till we did.
