This is the worst rental service I’ve ever used. They throw extra charges at you once you turned the vehicle back in and the car needed some brake work once I got 30 minutes away from the airport. They also charged me a $250 deposit, which they should’ve have for a bad maintained vehicle. The so called cheaper prices wasn’t worth it all.
If your flight gets delayed and you land after 12:30am (e.g. yesterday/today after the meltdown at DFW) you are on your own i.e. no rental for you. You will get charged though for the rental automatically (even if it wasn't picked up) and will have to personally request a refund. Called Avis online quite a few times but other than being put on hold multiple times they never updated my reservation with my updated flight number.
