Marylin the manger need recurrent training on customer service. I came in to exchange an unacceptably dirty car from DCA. Sampson at the car return thought he had cars but apparently the don't which is ok. Marylin said I could pay another company to clean the car and said to send the bill to Avis. She told me to tell her employee downstairs to clean the car and give it back to me. Why can't she call her own employee and tell him is confusing, instead I have to do it. How about an apology and how can Avis help make it better ... read more

Arrived with reservation, no car available and uncaring staff could not even provide an ETA or alternative arrangement. Would give zero star if possible.

Cars are always clean. Staff at the counter and in the garage are friendly, accommodating, and Professional. Looking forward to the next rental.

It’s sad, because it could be so easy. This Avis/Budget location just hired the wrong people. The customer service skills are horrible and, after renting cars for over 40 years, it was the first time I’ve actually had a written reservation refused and an upcharge added because “we’re running low on gas vehicles”. The lady at the counter was insensitive and actually combative. Well, first time using the location, and last. I tried.
