Do not use Avis. Worst company I’ve ever used. We’ve rented MANY cars through out the years with other companies and have never had an experience like we did today. They will cancel reservations without any explanation as well. Also corporate has no say with the small office so they really do whatever they want.

I would strongly recommend using Enterprise when in Elko. Do Not rent from this company it is NOT a corporate Avis. It is a small local company looking to take advantage of patrons because there aren't many options in the area. They called me two hours later to charge a different price. I've checked with multiple locals and they're doing it to other people as well.

Our car broke down, we called everywhere and finally got Stephanie with Avis. We managed to get our family of 6 to Elko and she was great in getting us a ride to fit us all. So thankful for her patience and kindness.

I was in pinch and Stephanie is GREAT!!! She was so patient and understanding with me. AVIS needs more employees like her. She's awesome!!!! Thank you for all the help and patience you gave me.

Renter beware! This place will try and charge you for damages they caused. They will fall back on the rental agreement and pre inspection paperwork. Take photos and cover your butt. Unfortunately, I learned my lesson to not trust these people. Safe travels!
