Dr Kothavale is very focused and attentive during my appointments with him. He takes his time when answering questions. In addition, he always reviews all of my medications for possible contractions.Dr Kothavale is very approachable and easy to talk to..I have 100 percent confidence in Dr Kothavale and would recommend him without hesitation.
Dr Kothavale is a fine general Cardiologist for everyday needs (eg. checking cholesterol, running an annual physical). However, if you're someone who needs top advice or referrals for pressing issues (eg. HeFH, AFib, etc), you may come up short. Dr. Kothavale generally colors within the lines. He'll prescribe Cholesterol medication if your lipids are high, but it's up to you to figure out if you've got something that can benefit from advanced expertise. He just doesn't go that extra mile.
