The package was nicely. Neat the feathers were a little stuff in there, but overall, we’ll see how good of a fly wings we make out of it.

I placed the order on January 26 and received the item on January 30 and the expected date range to receive was January 30-February 3 so I received it at the earliest date in the range. Item was well packaged and in great condition when the package was opened. I plan to order items again from AvidMax through Amazon. I am pleased with the service.

I purchased a second TFO 8 weight for an Alaskan fishing trip. I bought the TFO NXT BLACK LABEL 4-Piece 8-weight fly rod combo. It performed very well casting and held up to the stress of sockeye. The NXT BLK lll reel out did itself. I set the drag and it held up very well. On occasion it would get some grit in it but every night of a good cleaning and it held up. I fished hard for 2 weeks. Limited out everyday. Then played with rainbows. Thank you for help making a successful Alaska fishing trip come true!

AvidMax has a wide selection of fly tying materials and the prices are great. Orders are processed quickly (often the same day) and they offer free shipping if you spend $45 (US). What's not to like.
