I came to Dr. Veronica Jow for a shockwave therapy consultation for bilateral shoulder pain and knee pain. Prior to the treatment, I had pain putting on my socks and shirt. Two months later, I was able to ice hike in Patagonia! The pain is 80% better and I’m thrilled. I had tried steroid and toradol injections but it was ultimately the shockwave therapy and EMTT that worked. Thank you Dr. Jow!

I thought I might not be able to run again and the inability to exercise was very unhealthy. But the PRP injection, strengthening exercises, and ultrasound imaging from Avid (and an MRI from insurance covered clinic) allowed me to recover from a tricky injury. Excellent staff and clinic!

Huge shoutout to the team at Avid! I came in with some pretty serious pain in my achilles while ramping up training for the SF Half Marathon. I wasn’t sure how i was going to manage the pain or continue my training but after consulting with Dr. Jow, i was provided a recovery program along with multiple treatments of Shockwave Therapy. Avid is awesome! I’ve had the pleasure of visiting their space for both fitness classes and a wellness rave. I appreciate how Dr. Jow and the team take a holistic approach to health. The Circuit Burner fitness class is the perfect combo of strength and mobility, highly recommend! Keep an eye out for their events as well, this is a wonderful community to be a part of if you’re interested in health and wellness.
