Horrible I took in my cockatiel because it was showing all the signs of sickness. The vet failed to tell me what was wrong with my bird and explain the results of the blood test (chemistry panel) other than to stop feeding it seeds, and gave me two types of medicine to administer orally. In the end, I received a $300 bill and learned nothing about my bird's health to prevent whatever it had from occurring again. Great Exotic Pet Place A wonderful place for my friends exotic pets. The care for these animals carefully and it is truly a site to behold, expecially if you are used to vets for large animals. They are gentle and caring and a great place to go to with nice people
Terrible experience I took my bird to get checked out. They reassured me that my bird would be alright and all I had to do was administer it some medication they gave me. Before leaving they gave me a $364 bill for a parakeet that cost me $6. My bird died only hours after the appointment. For my next bird I will make sure to avoid Avian and exotic. I would rather travel miles if I have to in order to see another vet.
