Used to be beautiful now the trees are dying and mgmt is chopping all the shrubs to the ground. It was donated to the Town of Brookhaven and managed by HUD for SENIOR Housing. It was part of the Avery estate the plantings were beautiful but now many trees have died including two huge weeping figs that must have been over 100 years old.
I have a family member that lives there. It's a nice place to live.
It used to be nice here. I am here for 15 years. Everything that seniors enjoyed has been taken away. No flowers allowed in our gardens. No outsiders allowed in the club house, and because of that we can no longer have the Senior club, and entertainment. We can not have more then 10 people in the club house so no birthday parties. No more voting here, The owners have taken away our social life, This use to be a wonderful community, No more
