Ted at Avery Auto is the best way in Town
First time customer,Ted is very friendly,informative. Took the time to explain what was wrong with my car. Reasonably priced and honest. It wasnt all about the money he cares.
I drive north through the city to get to Ted because he's the only mechanic I've been to who has been 100% honest with me. People assume I know nothing about cars (they're right) and I've always felt I was being taken advantage of until I started going to Ted. I'm moving across the country with my car and I asked Ted to check it out. He found repairs that need to get done by winter but recommended I wait to get them done. I can't think of any other mechanic who would be so honest with me.
Ted is a great! He is very fair and keeps you informed while working on your car. I have never been to an auto service shop that is so easy to work with. I feel like I found a golden nugget. Thanks Ted!!

The owner Ted does most of the work himself. He is very honest and fairly priced. He never tries to up sell parts or labor to make an extra buck. His estimates for time and cost are on point. He is never late with work or costing extra. A few times he has gone out of his way to get the right part and get the job done right. He even honored the warranty on a part that was a few months old and failed.
