Absolutely terrible experience living here. My friend has only been here a few days and already had her tires and rims stolen, which makes the property feel extremely unsafe. On top of that, there are roaches in the unit. This isn’t even a one-time issue either another friend who lived here dealt with roaches pantry bugs and carpet beetles for months before management finally moved him to a different unit. If you like cold showers and for something to always be broken, this is the place for you. Haven’t even been here a year and I’m counting down the days to get out of here. You get about 10 minutes of WARM running water every day before it gets ice cold. Water pressure is very weak. Maintenance guy and other companies have came multiple time to fix the problem, but every-time they “fixed it” it was temporary and the issue continued that same night. Vanessa, Laurie and Ricky are great!! Update: I lived here for 3+ years and it was very sad to leave, but life changes happened so I had no choice. I want to give a huge shout out to Ricky- he was the best part about Avery. He’s on top of his work, and so friendly! Avery was also a great place to live. I loved my apartment. I recommend this place if you are looking for a cozy home 🏡
There are perks to living here. Handy man is nice. But it is way overpriced even for Bay Area. They are going to charge you $200 when you leave for a cleaner even if the apartment is 100% clean. Then they aren’t going to allow you to pay it through portal because you left. So you don’t have access. Then they won’t respond to your emails or phone calls and send you to collections.
