Bad experience in closing a condo at palace st. Kitchener, tons of issues for a new build, cheap materials and bad craftsmanship. I’m closing phase, the builder charged me 10k of property taxes in advance so they can invest it and I stay out of pocket. Their interest rate was very high during occupancy compared to other builders at the same time period, and they have not paid their utilities while building the unit and got it transferred to me!!! I would not deal with them ever again.
I wish I could give a negative rating—this builder deserves it. They are playing with clients’ hard-earned money. The Parkside Towns Kitchener project, promised for May 2022, is still not complete. Today, I received an email claiming it might be finished by July 2026—but even that is tentative. I invested all my savings as a deposit back in 2021 and am still stuck renting. If you can’t fulfill your agreements, you should shut down your office. This is outrageous and completely unacceptable!
