On Monday I had a total knee replacement done at the Avera Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls. The care I received was 10+ out of 10. Every aspect of my surgery experience was handled with a caring professional team and the Avera Hospital is a new, well designed building with a phenomenal atmosphere. A very sincere thanks to Avera Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Everyone was helpful and polite
Valet was slow when we arrived, and rude. The front of the hospital was extremely congested
Great doctors and an amazing staff. Fast and accurate appointment times. Payment friendly.
Extreme pack of communication and nurses treat their patients like morons while refusing to give out any details about what's actually going on to their patient. Speaking from experience as I had to fight to even talk to someone about why every detail of what to expect at the appointment as the lack of details and explanation had my husband anxious to the point he walked out twice with the second walk being from the prep room itself.
