Was just in ER. Doctor said he couldn't do anything for me. Discharge said to return if I had a list of symptoms that I was there for that he said he couldn't do anything about. Said my lungs were clear. I kept telling the Doctor about how my lungs were burning and I couldn't breathe and he said all he could do was hook me up to a machine and suck it out after saying my lungs were clear. My visit with the ed was great. The doctors know me pretty well and then I felt the care was good. No wait time. They understand my history and building the rapport is always appreciated
Don’t be taken here by ambulance if you have something happen to you. Go to Sanford instead. I love going to Avera for health work ups but with my experience on the emergency department, I’ll go somewhere else. I was not listened to upon my arrival. They gave me a diagnosis that was not true even after I told them that’s not what’s going on. Now I have a bill to pay when I didn’t even receive the help I needed. The whole medical team has been great!
Loved the care team for my 8 month old, they made sure he was well cared for and listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions and was very caring
