Come for the gazpacho and duck, stay for the strawberry shortcake. Awesome food and service. We are big fans of chef Brian Carr and have loved all of his restaurants. We have been regulars at Avenue since he opened the doors.
We had dinner there on a Saturday night. It was not crowded at all which is a bad sign. It's a very nice, well-spaced restaurant. However, the food was all just ok and very expensive. It took forever to get our salads, dinners, and desserts. We were there well over 2 hours.
Food was good. I had the salmon. I was given great suggestions based on my diet. Service was great! I have been at the bar and privately dined. The bartender was extremely helpful with recommendations for food and drink. Atmosphere is hoppin'! Not too big but enough space to fill. The restaurant quickly filled up on a weeknight for dinner.
Salmon was 10/10.
