If people selling drugs across you, party all night on weekdays, leaky ceiling that does not get repaired even after calling every other week, dog poop all over staircase, not returning deposit even after leaving the apartment spotless...then this is the place for you. If staff that have 0 integrity lying that they have to charge for them fixing things after you left...then this is the perfect place for you.
Not worth the money. You do not get what you pay for. When we moved in everything seemed fine but a few months in, things started to break down. Our huge A/C unit broke down on us during the summer and it took a week for them to replace it. Our oven was on the fritz. Only one of the burners would work. There were unsealed holes under the window that allowed bugs to creep into the rooms my children occupied. We lived there for 15 months. STAY FAR AWAY! In the six months weve been here, weve had roaches twice caused by neighbors not cleaning, woke up with snow in our bedroom due to faulty insulation, and Ive been incredibly sick due to the second hand smoke of our other neighbors. Management could care less about my hospitalizations, and wont allow us out of the lease without PCS orders. If you value cleanliness, safety, and health, STAY AWAY FROM AVENDALE
DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT HERE: i am not the type to get online and post bad things about people or places but i could not resist this for the fact that everything about this place is a lie.. and i would not want anyone to go through the things my family and i did by living here! we lived there in 07-08 and didnt have the problems spoken of before. there were some loud and noisy tenants but within a month they were gone. had some military who were a little loud on the weekends but not bad. maintenance wasnt too bad, not same day service always but with 48 hours, depending on the problem and we had a cordial relationship with the mgmt. we had to move because of my disability made living there to expensive but id rather be there than where I am now, Oakwood or Maplewood or whatever they want to call th... read more
