Like most sleep apnea places, all they care about is getting you to buy a device or supplies through them. My family doctor said the same thing (that these places are only money driven) and if you dig into this online you'll see its true across the board. Any sleep test you do will show that you need a machine, so don't count on that result too much. If you have sleep apnea *symptoms* and a CPAP machine helps, that's great (I do). I hope the future holds a better code of ethics at Aveiro, and they become mindful of basic gender affirming barriers and practices. From my short experience, and as it turns out, there was a “simple fix” in the system, but only after the damage to me was done. How easy it would have been for your staff to be mindful of this beforehand?
