My daughter is an Aveda aesthetician graduate. I wish I had back the $12,900.00 it cost me to send her. None of the equipment that is needed in this field were available at Aveda as promised. No job placement as promised. School is a joke. They just want you to sell their product. Waste of money.

My mom comes here for haircuts and she likes it but today I went to get a body polish and was incredibly disappointed. The student was super nice and I don’t think it is her fault maybe that is what they teach them. The lady on the phone told me I should try body polish and said it is amazing, a little bit of massage and what not. Honestly I just got kinda scrubbed half of my legs and my arms not even my hands. RecommendedI've been going to aveda for 10 years but I was not as happy as i usually am. Girl wasn't very personable, didn't wash my whole scalp around my ears and neck where the bowl was didn't get washed. She didn't engage me at all. which normally they do. no massage and I don't think she put any style or finishing product. normally I love my services but wasn't impressed by this girl at all.
Got a highlight and it looked bad. I understand that she was learning but when you have an instructor check and have you correct it and it’s not done right I have to wonder. They were accommodating in me coming back to fix it and I appreciate it. But it was also my 2 daughters that had a bad experience this day. They asked for a shampoo cut and style and they just got a blow dry not style. I have used y’all before and always was pleased. Now we have to style our own hair because no one listened to what they wanted.
