I can not say enough good things about Aveana Hospice of Decatur. Aveana, start caring for my father in 2025. It could be longer; I don't recall the exact time. Let me start with James, he is my father's nurse and a fine nurse indeed! He handles my dad perfectly, and I can tell that my dad trusts him completely. He listens to all my concerns and handles each one with kindness and knowledge. Mom's need to go on Hospice has been extremely difficult for me to grasp. I really didn't know what to expect. I am so grateful that I chose Aveanna! Charlotte has talked me down and reassured me more than once! She is amazing with Mom! She's patient, kind and loving to all of us! The on-call nurses (which I seem to call often), are so sweet about it and constantly telling me it's ok. They have all been so good about it.
