Wonderful Food This is the oldest Avanti's in the area. A little harder to get in and out of, but well worth it. Caters to the college close by. Food is great, Gondolas, bread and all the Italian dishes are just superb. I don't use this one as often because of the location but they do deliver and the inside service is always fast for carryout. Also, have sit down dining.
Great People talk about this place when they move away. Very busy and popular with the college students. Food never changes!
The best Gondolas! Avanti's has the best inexpensive Gondolas around. They also carry pizza, and other italian foods. They are know for their italian sweet bread that has yet to be copied. They are only located in limited areas in the central Illinois areas though. I live in Oregon and have to wait several years at a time to have them. Great family atmosphere. Aimed at college & quick food! They even deliver!

They also have plenty of hot sandwich's as well as the classic Italian cuisine of spaghetti, lasagna and the like. When you need filled up for the best price, Avanti's is the best bet.
