Imaging and ultrasound techs are competent and getting the tasks at hand done. In the past very kind and compassionate care. Booking and front desk staff need to seriously step up their game. Reminders and appointment information not communicated, not even made aware I had appointments. So much more could be done to ensure patients are aware of what they need to do prior to appointments. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Today was my first and definitely last visit to Avantia for an ultrasound appointment. I arrived on time and sat there waiting for 35 minutes past my appointment time, assuming they were simply running behind. When I finally went up to ask what was going on, I was told there was supposedly an issue with the fax number on my requisition. What makes this even more ridiculous is that I had bloodwork done just yesterday using the exact same fax number without any problem. What was trul... read more
We had an excellent experience. We were processed very quickly and they solved a problem which I had with my requisition. Thumbs up to Abby who did a wonderful job with the x-ray procedure. This is one of the nicest places that we’ve been to in Ottawa. Please keep up the good work.
I have to come back later in the day for specified appointment. But t it all worked out fine...people were friendly. Only complaint...nobody answers the phone ever..
