Do not go there! Less than mediocre! I can not exaggerate how disappointing this experience was! Jill lacks in every way shape and form! The best stylist in Boston ! I have followed Louise Chobanian back to Avanti and I will never be dissapointed. She knows just how to suggest and veiw your image and style without pressure. Her talentsare endless. She sits with you and consults in detail and she listens. I have always recommended friends and family to her because she basis her buisness on refurals. Trendy Salon Avanti Salon does everything to make you look and feel beautiful. Hair color, manicures, pedicures, micro-dermabrasions, facials, and all that jazz has women flocking to 11, Newbury Street despite insufficient parking. great hair styling on Newbury street John McKenna is an artist. He does a fabulous job cutting hair. The salon is spotless and gives a nice warm feeling. The staff is friendly and helpful with their advice, I wouldn't go anywhere else in Boston.
Very unprofessional, bad cut! I have to agree exactly with some of the reviews about this place, if you are looking for a chic address in a supposedly "cool" type setting and not mind the quality of work and the noise, then you should go there, but if you are looking for talent, style and confident professionals to take care of your hair then most definitely forget about it!. Stylist Danielle Elwood is gifted! I must say my review is about Hair Stylist Danielle Elwood. She takes the worse hair conditions from bad cuts to very poor hair extensions or colors and is very gifted in turning them out right. She spends time with the blow dry, finishing with spectacular results. When you leave after her final touches you feel like you've walked off a Chic magazine shoot. Piscilla is the BEST in Boston Priscilla is the BEST! I went to see Priscilla at Avanti Salon after reading some great reviews of her on Yelp. Everything about her skills and her ability to listen was true. My hair was a mess. Priscilla highlighted, low-lighted and glazed my hair, and it came out exactly as I wanted it to. I looked and felt great when I left the salon. She also gave me a great deal for parking.
