I would recommend this property for a quiet place to live, with respectful neighbors, clean common areas and garage, with responsive management. Some things I'll point out probably seem obvious, but I've been renting forever and a lot of places are just overpriced and under-deliver. They are not transparent about their credit check requirements, and their standards seem extremely high. They also charge a $300 non-refundable administration fee, which was disappointing. We felt pressured and rushed into making a decision and applying, which did not sit right with us. On top of that, the staff came across as rude, making communication difficult and unpleasant.
EV Charging: Not an Actual Amenity. Avant lists EV charging stations as a amenity on their website, and to be fair, they do have them. The real problem is that management is completely inept at running them. Originally, there was only one station that could charge two vehicles at once. Both spots were clearly marked with “EV Vehicles Only” signs. Unfortunately, non-EV drivers constantly ignored the signs and parked there anyway.
