I’d like to update my previous review, which went from 5 to 3 stars. I’d like to update it to 4 stars Update: 4/3/2025 What’s great: 1) there is a sense of community. My wife and I moved in in 2022 and have made numerous friends. People are not afraid to meet their neighbors, and everyone is welcoming. 2) The movie theater is always a pleasure to use, so long as the previous user cleans up after themselves. Leonard, Israel, and Ernesto always help me with my maintenance requests, they are very quick and kind!
EDIT 03/28/2025 I just don't get it, this administration loves to nickel and dime their residents at any opportunity. As others have mentioned this place has decayed in quality since Waterton took over and I couldn't agree more at this point. Charging people for a coffee machine that they claimed would be an upgrade is just such a slap in the face knowing the old one had better options and was free. I have lived in Avant for three years already. There has been ups and downs with the old management and the new management. There has also been some changes throughout the years. BUT something that stands out and I am extremely grateful for is for both Jeet and Sam. They are absolutely are amazing. This review is for them and all of their hard work. We are extremely lucky to have them both, thank you Jeet and Sam!
Jeet and Sam have done a great job since Waterton purchased Avant. They're very attentive and quick to respond when you are in need of help. They really care about the building and community. Leonard and Ernesto are also great to deal with and keep the building in excellent condition!
