We have lived here almost a year, and Avant has been such an amazing place to live. Sam made it very easy to move in, and is so kind and professional with any question or need. Any need for a maintenance request they have been quick with responses, and found solutions. It is a relaxing environment, and very friendly.
I lived at Avant from 2022-2025, staying in the same unit the whole time (1 bed, 1 bath). The good: 1. Overall, the building was relatively clean. I never experienced any pest issues or felt like the area was not well maintained. 2. Location. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. 3. Package room is a nice feature. 4. Gym was a good place to exercise. The bad: 1. Rent increases of 10% or more each year. It doesn’t matter if you were a long-time tenant with a perfect rent payment history; your rent was going up. EDIT 06/19/2025 Management has been telling maintenance whenever they fix something for a tenant, to give this place 5 Stars to boost the review score on Google. Ignore any reviews that explicitly only mention maintenance. They're amazing, yes, but that does not mean Waterton as the property owners get to ride the coattails of the only group of people in this building actually benefiting the community. I would not recommend leasing here. The air conditioning in my unit was broken since I moved in. They have yet to fix that. The dishwasher is crusted in rust and the hot water in the shower barely lasts 20 min. I also discovered roaches not even a couple days into living here. I’m not sure where the positive reviews are coming in from but I’d steal clear from this apartment complex.
