Abhorrent care. Short staffed most of the time. Patient was left to their own devices & medication was given hours late. After pushing the call button for help it often took 20-45 minutes for nursing staff to show up. Oregon Ombudsman had to be called. Laws were being broken. This is not a safe place for your loved one.

If you are not happy with Avamere, just try and get your loved one released. They will pull every trick in the book to keep them there until Medicare runs out.

This place has been phenomenal to my grandmother and our family! She has been here for years, and we could not ask for better care! She has been in a few other facilities, but none of them can compare to Avamere of Oregon City. The staff truly knows their stuff and goes above and beyond expectations to ensure each and every resident is well taken care of.

My dad has been at Avamere for a few months. The people there are very caring and, although not everything goes perfectly all the time, we appreciate all that they do to make his stay a good one. :)
