Phones do not work calling into patient’s room. The landlines do not call outside 541 area code. Receptionist lied about how often my Dad had visitors. They take a message asking for your phone number saying they will call back and do NOT.
Today I witnessed a resident fall out of his chair right across the street from three fountains. Now knowing there were cna's and nurses outside smoking like they always do I assumed someone knew about it. But no. They had no clue. My wife and a few other people helped the man back in to his chair while a few people from avamere arrived. However. They took their sweet time. They didn't rush to help. If you want your family member abused then take them here. They do not care about their patients. They literally shove the patient into the bed when they have an injured back causing more pain and possibility of damaging their back further. Then proceed to tell the patient's family member that they don't have time because they have other patients to deal with! This facility is abusive on many levels. If you love your family member, avoid this facility at all costs!
Beautiful campus with amazing staff & administrators in the residential and rehab/long term care buildings on campus! Your loved one will be well taken care of & in great hands here!
