Used to go somewhere else years ago, but the Av Tyre crew are always fast, and most importantly friendly, especially if you don’t know everything about tyres. Thanks Av Tyres! :)
Took car in with a screw in the tyre. A simple 5 min job. They said they would fix it straight away. Left it there for half hour. Not started. Hour later they told us just low pressure even though the screw in the tyre was visible to us. They didn’t even look for the screw. The guy helping us had no idea. Said he would do it now will take 5 mins but by then we had two toddlers waiting 1.5hrs for a 5 min job now we will be going somewhere else. Glad these guys aren’t brain surgeons.
Blew two tyres on Mona Vale road today and crawled to Avalon Tyres & Wheels hoping to have them replaced. Happily, they had two, correctly sized tyres in stock and I left the car for a couple of hours to be attended to. When I returned, I noted that the new tyres had been fitted to one side of the car, rather than — as is accepted best and safest practice — to either the front or rear axels.
