I was residing at Avalon Park Crest between May 2019-May 2020 while finishing up my medical degree at The George Washington University. I chose Avalon given their great reviews and the assumption that this would be a safe and clean community, but was incredibly disappointed both during my stay and especially with the move-out process. RecommendedEasy application process. Friendly staff. Great amenities and affordable rates. Just moved in last week, so far we are glad for the choice we made. Choosing a place to leave only based on pics and websites is certainly challenging and makes us nervous but there is no better feeling than being surprised in only positive ways at arrival.
Nothing but pleasant experiences since I met the staff in February to sign the contract for the apartment home to which I moved at the end of March. They just replaced a burned-out, hard-to-find (and probably expensive) fluorescent bathroom light bulb for me.
In two weeks I am moving back to Europe for my job as a university Professor. Avalon sent me a survey asking me to rate my experience living at Park Crest. I get nothing out of posting this other than to publicly thank the staff. I wrote in the survey I submitted- "This is the third Avalon I have lived in (the others in Maryland and NY). This one stands apart from the others due to the extraordinary high level of customer service the office staff provides.
