Lousy customer service and communication when trying to set up a virtual tour. Never actually got one. Can’t imagine what it would be like to live there if they’re that unresponsive when I’m trying to give them my money.
Absolutely not! There was a recent stabbing of a teenage girl that could have been prevented!
RecommendedI have not had any issues with fluctuating fees. The management was pretty up front about everything and they've been very accurate. I've been very comfortable at Avalon. The buildings, grounds and amenities are all well kept and all of my neighbors seem pretty happy. Management and maintenance have all been friendly and helpful. No complaints!
I have a wonderful apartment and the staff is very accommodating.
I am extremely happy at Avalon Ossining. Jeff and the crew are awesome!

I was flooded out of my apartment a couple days ago. No one from the AVALON company asked if there was anything they could do to help. Every time, which is about 15 times by now, that I have asked for help of any kind, the managing office has said no. I suggest they think twice. I suggest they talk to corporate because they are unclear about rules, if in fact corporate could be reasonable. Painfully rude. I have never seen a place so egregious in its abuse of renters. Avalonbay seems to be confused about the fact that it owns the buildings in its complexes, and not the people who live there. I was so unnerved by their horrifying treatment of residents that words alone are not enough: please spare yourself potentially the most hideous experience of your lifetime and check out the lengths I had to go to in order to protect myself from these people. youtu.be/BV8somZvxjs
