The good: - they take walk-ins and work quickly -discounts for paying cash The bad: - pedicure is rather perfunctory (more like quick touch ups and nail-painting and virtually no foot care)
I’ve visited Avalon Nail Bar multiple times over the past year, and unfortunately my experiences have been very inconsistent. While I’ve had a few good appointments, most have been disappointing. The biggest issue has consistently been the quality of the pedicures, and after my most recent visit, I don’t think I’ll be returning for another one. Disappointing. I looked forward to a pedicure and paid the extra $15 to get gel polish. I picked out a sparkly white color, but the tech really didn't speak English, so I ended up with pink toes. Not the end of the world but disappointing.
DO NOT GO HERE!! I made an appt at the other location across the street and they told me I didn’t have an appt and they couldn’t take me so they sent me here. Later I called and they said they made a mistake and they did have me down. They had sister locations across the road from each other. When I arrived there was a woman, I’m deducing that it was the daughter of one of the technicians, who had me sit so she could take the gel off my toes. I have been here several times, it’s a hit and miss. The last time I was there the gal that did my nail was very ruff. I have arthritis in my finger and tried to tell her but she doesn’t speak English. I selected a pink regular nail polish, the bottle was mostly empty and she put something in the bottle which thined it down. Well left the place and looked at my one hand and it was all messed up.
