WITHHELD MEDICATION UPON DISCHARGE They kept pushing me to stay longer, and my time was extended one week at a time. After 2 months, I decided it was enough so I left on a Sunday. Ask them about their long term success rate :) they won't have an answer. They will, though, make you feel bad if you ask. They think that having no data on their success, especially clients 1-2 years after they depart, is acceptable. But ultimately, I'd say run. They clearly don't have any idea if what they do works, they just want to make money off of you for an extended period of time. I highly recommend Avalon if you are seeking treatment for either or both addiction or mental health treatment. I personally had a long struggle with addiction, depression and anxiety. The services and treatment they provided allowed me to heal in what I felt was a safe and comfortable space. All the staff from the RAs to the clinicians to the doctors and even the maids were so welcoming and I believe truly had my best interest in heart.
