I do not know who is in charge of the hiring for Gentiva hospice in Paris, TN but they really should be commended. They have managed to get a phenomenal team in place. These ladies were all caring and compassionate at a critical time . They ALL genuinely care for the patients and families that they come to assist. Special thanks to all of you that came to help my dear friends when they needed you most. You will never know how much you all meant to Jim and family.

This review specifically reflects the work of nurses, Jana and Melissa, and the social worker, Amy. My mother, Joyce Jordan, was recently with Gentiva hospice care. These women went above and beyond to try to make Mama comfortable in her last days. Mama seemed to be an atypical patient in that the level of pain and terminal agitation was extreme, so the nurses definitely had their work cut out for them. I will forever be grateful to EVERYONE at Gentiva Hospice for their professionalism and kindness toward my mother. Never once, did I worry about the level of care or concern she was receiving. Without fail, they were always there with the support that we needed at that difficult time in our lives and that meant everything. Especially nurse , Tessa Szabo Ledsinger and CNA Melinda Watson. All of the staff that we worked with at Gentiva were wonderful. The nurses always took their time with us and were always helpful. They never seemed rushed, even if they were doing an on-call visit. Daphne, that came for baths, took extra care of him. She took the time to do showers once per week as long as he was able. Kayla and Daphne were with us on his last day and talked us through everything we needed to monitor and made him as comfortable as possible.
