Extremely disappointed with Avalon Grille. We were told there would be a 10-minute wait and were asked for our name and phone number — standard, right? Well, they never called us. Not even a glance our way after that. We waited and waited while several empty tables sat untouched. It honestly felt like we were being ignored completely. Tried this place thru reviews and hotel recommendations. To our dismay we were disappointed. Cocktails are pricey. Average is $18 per drink, tasted great, but are weak. Doesn't feel like we got our money's worth. Pork belly appetizer was really good. The hoisin BBQ sauce was amazing. It set the expectation that the entree's would be great as well. wonderful experience at the Avalon Grill particularly impressed with my server Jimmy very kind attentive made me feel very taken care of
Jimmy was our server Tuesday and because of him we are eating there again Thursday. Jimmy was attentive, personal, and met every request. The food was exceptional and we so enjoyed dinner because of the great service we received. Look forward to hopefully getting Jimmy as our server again. The Anderson from Livermore CA.
