I’ve been living at Avalon Dublin Station and overall it has been a very convenient place to call home. The biggest advantage is the location right next to Dublin/Pleasanton BART, which makes commuting around the Bay Area very easy. The community is close to groceries, restaurants, and other everyday amenities, so most things I need are within a short walk or drive. Keeping it simple, out of all complex’s this is the worst ran, dirties and least helpful place I’ve ever experienced. It’s filthy constantly, hallways are filthy from trash being dragged everywhere even after the carpets were replaced with hardwood no one ever cleaned in 6 months it was cleaned once and the shoots are awfully small and smell! This is a great place to live. The cleaning person Henry is specifically great who works very hard and is very personable.
I used to live there back in 2022, it was not good. The biggest problem I had was the rat, and took the leasing office a week and half to take some action on the rat problem. Until we moved out, they still never sanitize our carpet and floor. Leasing refused to temporarily relocate us, nor pay for the hotel while we had the rat problem, and told us to use our renter insurance to cover our hotel.
After living here for 5 years, we can confidently say that management has failed to address a serious and ongoing cockroach problem. We have filed nearly 10 formal complaints, yet the only response is basic pest control that requires us to leave our apartment for two hours, often during our work-from-home days. There is no preventative plan, no investigation into the root cause, and no consistent follow-up unless we push for it ourselves.
