I've lived at Avalon Darien since October 2018 because of the convenience to the train to NYC. Avalon Darien is low income housing but charges residents above market prices who do not qualify as low income. My apartment has been infested with bugs since I moved in and they haven't gotten rid of them. In addition, they raised my rent by 25% so I will be moving ASAP. Do not live here.
RecommendedEven during these difficult times with COVID-19 and the extra duties that requires, the maintenance staff is still terrific. Felix and Raoul came to make an adjustment to my stove this morning. As always, they were professional, courteous, friendly and definitely efficient. I appreciate you guys. Thanks!
My family and I have just moved into Avalon. Victoria Beliard is absolutely amazing. She helped us every step of the way. For me, my husband, and my daughter, this apartment is great. It has great-sized bedrooms, a reasonably sized kitchen, and large bathrooms. The bottom level allows guests with dogs to walk outside very easily. This apartment is great for either a transitional period or a long-term stay!
I’ve been living at the Avalon Darien for nearly a year and love the complex. The maintenance team are exceptional and Kevin our property manager is great and always helpful. The landscaping and amenities are very well maintained and always clean. Highly recommend!

This is a very loving community. Fast and responsive service. The staff and maintenance people are all great. Great facility at the gym which is my older son’s favourite place. My little son enjoys staying here very much because there are so many friends here. It’s like a big family.
We've been here almost a year and are enjoying our experience. The apartment is lovely and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, the staff very friendly and helpful and the maintenance crew is prompt, professional, courteous and always does a good job.
The ambience is amazing & so too is the neighborhood
