I would not recommend Avalon Boonton Apartments. Management seems focused on finding ways to charge residents rather than taking care of the property. They charge an annual amenity fee of almost $600, yet the amenities are not well maintained. At one point, all of the BBQ grills were out of service, and the outdoor seating areas were covered with mold and deteriorating. Be very careful when moving out. We left our apartment spotless, with nothing broken and only normal wear and tear. We even recorded a detailed video of the entire apartment before turning in the keys. Avalon kept our security deposit and then billed us an additional $406 for unexplained “damages.” If you rent here, document everything and don’t be surprised if you’re charged after move-out.

Michele is amazing! He always has a smile when he attends to my apartment and does a great job explaining what he’s going to do to fix it and then again after he’s done. I appreciate that he takes the time to listen to my description of the issue and then quickly gets to work!
I moved into Avalon Boonton last year and overall my stay here has not been ideal. There is a month remaining on my lease and I will be leaving after the lease ends in August. The building is very nice and super clean, but this is not the place for people who want peaceful sleep. There is a truck shipping company across the street, literally within 100 feet and they operate 24/7.
