Upgrades were overdue, back areas are trashy and filthy, fence needed for more protection on back areas especially people on lower levels. Wooded areas lead to allot of gun shots.
I lived at Strafford Station for five years, loved it completely and had NO problems. I moved to a beautiful condo in chesterbrook and i've had nothing but dissapointments here. I plan to move back to S S as soon as I can. Strafford i'm comin home!
I currently live in Brighton and was looking for a larger place. The pictures on-line are beautiful, the location perfect. A little more than I wanted to spend but I was seriously considering given the pics and floor plan. On my way home today I drove by just to take a closer look. WHAT A DUMP!!! The owners should be ashamed! The whole complex is very poorly maintained. Everything looks like it is either rotting or falling apart. I wouldn't be caught dead living there. It would be an embarrassment!
For the rent you pay, these apartments could be alot better. Everything is old, the cabinets and bathrooms. Not a good community either, too many rowdy teenagers. Always hanging around.

My experience at Avalon started out great. They employees were so nice and pleasant. They showed me an apartment that was identical to mine since mine wasn't ready. Then after signing the lease I went to my apartment and it was horrible, stained carpets, nothing had been cleaned, the bathroom sinks were plastic and had curling iron burns in them, the ceiling was drooping in the dining room.
