Community has greatly improved from the time it first transitioned from Avalon to Aven. Maintenance and Trash pickup delay issues seems to be taken care of. Upgraded gym, Door entry systems, Roof work etc show continuous improvements and upgrading done to property.
Vendors have no respect for this property management company. They do as they please. The Aven’s administrative & operations offices need to set boundaries fast.
STAY AWAY!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! THE WORST BUILDING EVER!!! It’s not even 1 star it’s less than 0 stars!!! Don’t trust the fake positive reviews — the building is old, and the good reviews are scam!!!!! There are gaps in the floor where cockroaches, ants, and other bugs come in! We had a flood in our apartment two times! Mold is everywhere! The manager (not the assistant manager) is useless, rude, disrespectful and even threatens tenants! Do NOT rent here!
Not recommended. The building is very old — we were flooded twice, one of which was due to a boiler pipe burst, not neighbors. Management insisted we stay in the unit during repairs, despite unsafe and unsanitary conditions. PLEASE TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THE ATTACHED VIDEO. They expected us to continue living in the apartment during the construction. Only after a long argument did they agree to move us temporarily.
