AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Tara and Melanie are controlling, manipulative, and dangerous for your loved one to be around, and the rest of the staff is unhelpful at best. In only about 6 weeks of service, Tara threatened to have her cop husband pull my grandma over and take her license, threatened to call the department of family services if we did not increase their service from 3 days to 4, and then again from 4 days to 5. A BIG shout out to Avail Home Care , Angel Dougherty, and the team for the incredible experience I had today. Needing an emergency private duty for my client who is in the hospital. Seriously ya’ll they had a HHA at the hospital in a 1 1/2 hour turn around. Now my client who is special needs can recuperate and the hospital can continue providing the great care that all patients need. Thank you so much to everyone on the Avail team.
I don’t know what I would have done without Tara and the Avail team. My mom went from being independent to needing 24/7 care to hospice care in 3 weeks. Tara walked me through every step of the every process. Patrice, Brittany, Felomena and the rest of the care team were beyond caring and did everything to help my mom and keep me informed. This level of compassion is something you don’t find and I am truly grateful to everyone.
